Come explore Osage Garden’s organic greenhouses on a guided tour.

Osage Gardens in a local business and one of the largest employers in New Castle, Colorado.

Under greenhouse cover, Osage Gardens grows fresh organic culinary herbs, greens and vegetables year-round for customers including Whole Foods on the Front Range and local customers on the western slope.

Locally, Osage Gardens has a farm store and participates in four farmer’s markets: Glenwood, Carbondale, Basalt and Eagle.

Osage Gardens also has a Fresh Eats Membership program:  Local Veggies and Asian Foods, which allows members to shop at any of our locations for a weekly free choice share amount.

Come see springs in full bloom, basil plants 6’ tall, nursery full of young plants and a state of the art packing facility.

April 2011 Meeting

Dr. John Murray will do a live demonstration of state-of-the-art 3D dental x-ray technology.  He will also answer questions about dental care in general.

December Meeting

Jamin Heady-Smith, CPA at Dalby Wendland & Co., and Jay McGlade, Financial Adviser at Edward Jones Investments, will discuss end of the year tax and investment considerations.  We will also hold elections for next year’s slate of officers.  We look forward to seeing you on Monday.  Drink specials at the Polo Lounge (at the Hotel Colorado) after the meeting!  Please response to this email with questions.

2010 RFYP Holiday Party – All Welcome!

Joins the Roaring Fork Young Professional to celebrate the holiday season and another prosperous year for the group.

Location: Aspen Glen

Time: 6pm to 8pm

Our one and only  Derron  Cloud has arranged another spectacular mix of wine tasting with ample appetizers at the beautiful Aspen Glen Club House.  Holiday Attire is encourages.

Cost: Members $25 / Non-Members $35

We encourage current members  to renew for 2011 at this time as well as invite new member to join and receive the Members rate for this event.  Membership is $25 for non Glenwood Chamber Members and $20 for current Glenwood Chamber Members.

Time: 6 -7. Please note that our members meeting will take place before the guest speakers rather than it’s normal time after the guest speaker.  Our guest speakers will start approximately at 7:20.

The Roaring Fork Young Professionals will be hosting a Mini Debate  between the Garfield County Commissioner Candidates. Tresi Houpt (D, incumbent) & Tom Jankovsky (R) with a brief  Q & A to follow.

RFYP Meeting in Glenwood – County Commissioner Candidates

Please join the Roaring Fork Young Professionals for the September meeting at 6:00 in Glenwood Springs at the U.S. Bank building at 1901 Grand Avenue.  This month Tresi Houpt and Tom Jankovsky, the democratic and republican candidates for Garfield County Commissioner, will speak and respond to questions from the RFYPs.  Members and non-members are welcome.  There will be a social afterward at 7:00.
